Part 1.
Excitement waiting for letters to arrive. Research the digital version of the font, the typographer. Xavier Dupré, 2004.
Letters arrive! They are beautiful!
There is only a “t, o, u, c, h”. My mind wonders, should I use as the word “touch” or should I use them in alternate words?
Delimitation: I am not going to add any other letters. Only use what was sent to me.
Part 2.
Wonder. Time spent thinking what to do with the letters. Not to inspired writing ouch, touch, couch…
But intrigued with touch and ouch–opposites.
Part 3.
Walking to mailbox, notice my environment. Arizona. Lots of cacti. Ouch.
I thought combine, touch/cacti
Part 4.
Experiment with images in Photoshop. Want to make a subtle background of cacti.
Tried making some duo tones. Did not get the results I wanted. Went with the silhouette of the cacti.

Printed the letters on top of the cacti image.
